Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this My Iphone just connected and phone book and speed dials were there immediately.

Have tried all sorts of ways but nothing seems to work.

Ended up manually loading speed dials.

Not happy at all.

TIA

Given how crap the Ace is I'm surprised it connects at all. Sorry I had to get rid of my Ace as it **** me to tears no end.

iPhone gives away your phone book for free, Android is more secure than iOS you need to specifically enable the phonebook upload.
Watch this vid and see if it helps...

The Ace is good enough for me has it has better reception than my iphone where I live.
It connects to the RNS 510 but wont upload the phone book That video shows different menus on the phone to mine so I guess its the older model Will try again tomorrow but don't hold out much hope have inserted main numbers in the speed dial manually so not to much of a problem.

Got it to work by going into Contacts bring up the menu and "sending" the contacts and tapping on the VW phone which was at bottom of screen under "connected devices"

Still have to " connect" each time I get in car wheras the Iphone did it automatically.

At least it works now to find how to use Speed dial on the phone ( Separate issue)

It connects automatically now and have figured out the speed dials so all is good.
As far as it being a "crap" phone Its not as far as Im concerned I only want it to ring up and send texts and it does that perfectly.

As well as that it only cost $149.

Also it holds a connection to the network far better than the Iphone 3 which spent its life searching for a signal and running its battery flat in less than 2 days of standby
Samsung has been on for 4 days an 6 hours and battery is at 49% How good is that.
