I'll swap the 19's for ACC thank you. Surely we will get reversing camera as standard?

Is anyone going to do the ringit to au$ conversion? Some of those options look steep relative to others.
I suppose though that the Aus one could be spec'd quite differently to other markets.

$1 AUD = 9.47 Rand.

So to may it easy on yourself, use 1 to 10 conversion.

From above, Golf R with DSG is 474 400 Rand using current exchange rates, that's $50 134 AUD.

Given the GTI with PP will be just under $50k, somehow, I don't see the R will be offered at that price, more likely closer to the $55k mark will be my guess.

The SA Golf R seems poverty spec. Base trim, base stereo (no sat nav), no ACC etc.

Base mk6 R was 49K, so it is a possibility I suppose, but as pologti said, the SA R doesn't come with things that we thought it might (to make it premium over any standard GTI)...
