Big deal, they won't do jack about it. At her appointment press conference, Anke Koeckler said the same thing basically and her first goal was to instill confidence back in sales and after sales staff and the customer experience. Well, we all know how well that went during her tenure!

That's all well and good, but you have to follow through, otherwise people will stop taking the company seriously.

VGA need to bring in a PMOT (Pi$$ed Me Off Tax) and apply it to wholesale prices for dealers. For every 6 complaints about their dealership the PMOT goes up 0.1%. Every 12 months or so the PMOT can drop 0.1%.

I thought Anke Koeckler was a bit of a sow for talking and doing nothing to advance VW PR!

That's a good model, except that many more serious complaints are made about VAG themselves so the dollar balance would break even...

Be fair Mr. White has only been in the top job for 6 months - give it time.

Well six months is long enough for him to completely ignore two emails I have sent regarding the run around I received from VW's head office. In fact it has taken Mr White that long to finally work out they might have a problem with customer satisfaction. He shows every sign of being as hopeless as his predecessor.

The entire VW experience is just so dismal in comparison to my wife's Alfa ownership. Not only do they make a DSG that actually works, their goal appears to be 100% customer satisfaction and, unfortunately, that remains a completely alien concept for VW.

Did you email him direct?

Did you email him direct?

I certainly did with my initial email regarding the collapsed hoodlining in my Jetta. I got exactly the same response from him as I did from my email to the previous MD in January - zilch.
