Hey Jmac, how much for the bushes + postage to Syd? Anyone else in Syd interested? I can maybe organise a group buy?
In terms of performance, how do these rate compared to the superpro ones?
Put it this way itll be a while before you would need to change them again unlike the originals. As for helping with tramp , they do the job very well. I would suggest the guys who have them chime here. Guys are trying other options here too. .
Cheers

How do the solid rubber ones compare to the polyurethane super pro ones?
Hoping the folk who have them already can help u there, my comments above. Great mod, as for pros and cons let see what folk have to say. I know I can supply and fit for way less than originals, yes the Polys fit easier, I guess its best to let the guys feedback. there is plenty out there, I went weeks just doing installs, in terms of replacing for orignals its a no brainer, for performance they hold up VERY well, Very interested to hear feedback on both.
Cheers

Rubber are good, I found the Poly's transferred too much vibration.
YMMV.

The SEAT bushes make my TDi noticeably harsher at low (sub 1200rpm) but the car is much more stable under heavy braking as the car doesn't toe out as much

Yeh your right about the low rpm harshness, less pleasant around town but it suddenly becomes all worth while when you put your foot down, can actually use first gear now..

Had a lazy arvo so decided to jack the gf's car up and see how her control arm bushes looked at 65,000k, she has a 09 GTI built 2 months after mine, turns out in the later models they don't use the same style control arm system as earlier builds
These are my control arms with the super pro bushes

Not seen that before... Maybe they realised it was such a pain to service and they were dying too quickly so redesigned it better.

Jmac installed SEAT bushes in my polo in December 2009. Just stuck my head under the car then and they still look perfect.

Wow - it looks like they change to the vertical layout used in the 6R POlo (and MkIV Golf)!!

I had Jmac fit the Seat bushes to my Polo GTI virtually within a week of getting it when he did the Custom Code tune. The standard ones were shagged at 39,000k's. I drive on some pretty crook Sunshine Coast roads roughly 600k's a week. I am now nearing 120,000k's. I put Weitec suspension in around 30,000k's ago. The car is still as tight as a drum and the bushes are A1. I can't see a down side.

I'm amazed. Anyone else with a late 9n3 got this?
