Just brought my rocco up in Darwin... Anyone here is in Darwin?
Haven't see too much VAG around town... But good to meet up and have coffee and a nice drive together!

There is quite a few Rs and GTIs getting around and a handful of Rocs that I've seen since getting my GTI a couple of months ago.

I suppose you guys aren't really interested in the 'older' VW models?

I reckon I've seen you once driving together along the Stuart Hwy around Parap, looked cool the 2 GTIs chasing each other... :D
Cheers,
Dom

Unfortunately not but we both do appreciate a nice car whether its old or new.
Yes that would be us. I have a few mods on the Polo GTI so the Golf has to try and keep up :)

Just had a puncture repaired at tirepower on the Stuart highway near thw city.
Bastards scratched up the rim and are trying to deny responsibility. Said they will fix it but wont prebook the painter so could be wheel less for who knows up here.
I'm not so worried about the scratch... more pissed off that the owner all but called me a liar when I said there was no damage before their monkey touched it. Apparently they have a magical tire machine that can't scratch the rim. He even tried to show me the machine couldnt have done it until I pointed out the tire irons.
I hate Darwin's bull**** customer service atitude.

Hey all,
Just for your info if you haven't seen or heard about it, 'Cruise for a Cause' is on next Sunday (1st December). If you look at the Facebook page link attached its a fundraiser for the recent typhoon Haiyan overseas that caused widespread devastation to be held at hidden valley raceway where there will be raffles, Vehicle exhibitions, donation tins, Show and Shine, Filthiest Forby, Best bike and other events still to be confirmed as well as a cruise into the city and back out to hidden valley. Currently there is over 240 going to the event.
As well I would like to see as many dubs as possible out and about for a good cause and chat with others on here as I know there is a growing group of Polo, Golfs popping up now up here. If you know anyone up here no matter what car opinions they have tell them all to get along to the event as I said before, its for a good cause.

P.s let me know if your coming or want to organise a Euro cruise
