Hey mate, does sound great. Will have to confirm tomorrow whether I could make the date. Are you still going ahead with it?

Cheers,

Nick.

Yes this day is still going ahead. Will only be a morning session now, likely timing to be 08:30-13:00.

You will need to pay by tomorrow if you would like to book your place.

Cheers Liam

Here are some pics of the Canberra Skid Pan day...

We had a great mix of cars out on the pan where everyone got heaps of sideways action and all the cars pulled through with no damage done (except for a single orange cone >: )

It was great to see the differences between front and rear wheel drive cars. Not to mention hearing the differences between the two supercharged minis and the turbo charged Polo GTI, Golf GTI and the awesome turbo caddy and turbo '70s beetle! Herbie came out to play with 2 other tidy early '60s bugs (one sporting a hot 2 litre engine) with my manky little Mk1 rounding out the non-force fed cars.

(more to follow)

A big thanks to Paul and Avril for making the trek all the way down to Canberra from Sydney for a great day at the 'pan.

'Till the next time, cheers!

Nice pic's.

Look's like you all had a fun & enjoyable day.

I find that the watered down skid pan frustrate's me more than anything else. Maybe it's just not for me.
