Just found this on ebay and am very interested.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Centre-Console-ARMREST-for-VW-Polo-9N-Mk6-GTi-NOT-GOLF_W0QQitemZ270163076268QQihZ017QQcategoryZ9889Q QrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD2VQQcmdZViewItem

If the link doesnt work, just search for armrest 9n polo

Thought i would run it past the guys who know a bit more as to how hard it would be to install and whether it would be ok. Id be happy with that as my first mod though ;)

Not to burst the bubble, but have a look on Uk-polos.net, there is a thread about it being a bit wobbly when fitted properly.

I have one. You can make it quite solid, with a little effort. Quite good for long distance driving but gets in the way (for taller drivers) around town when you need to use the handbrake more often, so I tend to have it folded up then.

Be aware that neither the plastic nor the cloth/"leather" match the GTI trims; I changed mine ;)

Yeah Tim's looks great, if you get them, it really is worth it to paint them.
