Looked through the manual and couldn't find an option for the remote central locking to unlock the drivers door only and then the rest on a second press of the key fob as some of my other cars do, eg Ford BA. Does anyone know if it's possible to even have this function?

The first button press only opens the driver door, and a second press is needed to open all other doors, including the rear door.

It is a thing that the dealer can code correctly for you. Next time you go in just ask them about it!

This is actually how I want it to work.

Thanks for the tip, next service I'll add this to the non-deactivating reverse sensors when towing list.

Hello all,

I am new to the forum, and new to VW ownership having purchased a '97 T4 two weeks ago - yes, I am loving it.

I am having a great deal of difficulty finding a T4 central/remote locking thread. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Thank you.My old T4 Transporter DEC 1996 build didn't come with factory central locking, I had it fitted by the dealer. If a search didn't bring up anything relevant by all mans start a new thread.
