Since yesterday I have been getting Database Errors and forum pages have been slow to change.
Not having problems on any other site
I use latest version of Firefox on an i5 with windoze 8 full version which has recently been fully reinstalled.
When I got to those error pages which have been retained in history they load ok this morning.
Very strange

I thought it was just my tablet. Every time I tried to view pictures zoomed it crashes out.

No you're not the only ones. I'm using Firefox too and have been having intermittent issues

I use Chrome and haven't seen any hard crashes, although I am getting back end server errors at the moment (essentially too many connections to the server at one time), I have tweaked the setting which should hopefully fix the problems.
The joys of getting bigger and bigger :P :)
edit: I have just done a re-boot of the server (at 16:31 EDST) so let me know if you are seeing errors after now.

Also the emails advising of a new post have taken up to about 6-8 hours to arrive after the post time.

I've noticed similar thing when I have "instant" email notification is usually between 5 minutes and an hour.
Perhaps "instant" is only an hourly update?
I'm on other forums with instant update and it is pretty much straight away.
