I saw a thread in the tex mk3 section, someone used your pic and said it was his "dream car"....

But, very nice....

Are those tyres your daily's or have you got other wheels?

Its hard to make out, but are those tyres RE55's? semi slick, like the ones that come on Subaru sti's?

If so, they cost $300 (depending on size) and last 15,000 km's

Nice car btw, i like!

As usual, it depends on your driving style...but i'd be happy with 15k..

I chew through my fronts quickly...spinning the wheels is just too much fun!!

Throw in a track day and ur looking at spending $1200 bucks every 10,000 km's... I for one, wouldnt be happy with that.
Much better value getting an extra set of wheels.

Ps and a double drainpipe like that'll attract flashing blue lights no worries! It looks awesome and the name tells it all! When I was a young bloke in the 60s I had a Mini Copper S with a double chromie like that sticking out of the middle of the back. It was a "Peco" and sounded beautiful.

nice car you have mate, hows your remus exhaust sound?

any idea how much power you have gained from the remus?

worm

I love your sig!.. oh and the car :P

I doubt you would get any power gains from just a muffler... Remus are my fav exhaust, but so damn expensive!

any idea how much power you have gained from the remus?

not much gain from back box only - my 2.5in cat back w/ rear muffler got 4hp - so i dare say just replacing the rear would get less

but i'm sure it would sound nice nonetheless

I don’t know what to believe now... the exhaust specialist, said the the vr6 exhaust is very restrictive, he said he could quieten a bridge port rotary with it, so its sound like a vacuome.... he claimed that the cat and resonator were very free flowing and would not gain any power replacing them its a waste of money, he did however recommend me getting extractors.

I have noticed that the car had gotten much smoother and the revs climb faster.. I do feel like the car did have a slight gain in power :?

i'd save ur $1K+ on extractors (last time i looked at it)- saw a dyno in the US a few years ago comparing stock with genie's - gained not much at all - definitely not worth changing - vw did a good job w/ the stock ones!
