Just got myself a set of golf gti rims (2003 model) for the polo!

Stoked to be getting rid of the hub caps, but what size tyres should I go?

I'm buying toyo t1r's as they offer terrific bang for buck, and after having them on the astra, I swear by them!

I'm thinking of same size tyre as the polo gti... what size is this?

Actually ... not sure the Golf rims will fit the Polo (different size).

Since you said the same size as the GTI I'm guessing your car isn't a GTI. I'd recommend going 205/40/16 to increase acceleration. It's not illegal to have a speedo that overeads btw

The wheels have a 5x100 stud pattern and same offset I've been told.

Audi TT wheels supposedly fit as well.
