Consider yourself lucky!

Dirt, angled, uncovered, un-sercured and about 30m (up stairs) to the shed with the tools  ... And there is a 4WD parked next to it most of the time *sigh*

Worm you have enough room in the yard to put up a Supercheap Autos car port with sides. If its not too windy should last a while and are only $150.
We use one at the race track and put it up and dismantle it each time and there is plenty of room around the car too.
I'd be carefull welding around it as the covering is plastic but hey you can get new covers cheap anyway :D

Yeah they are good worm, but very large and white, make sure everyone likes the sight of it.

Peg it down with better ropes and just leave it up forever. Mine lasted 2 years of heat and rain and a new cover was $60.

my garage is to damn messy for pictures its plain embarassing. i havta get a massive skip and start throwing things out. i can only just work on my car in there. for body work i have to push the car out of the garage to get enough room to work :? if i clean it up it would be a massive garage. its on my list of things to do

You cant get a car into my shed, let alone walk though it to get to the tools!
We have a huge car port, but its got the VZ coma-dore and the Rodeo in there, so my car gets to live out in the rain at the foot of the driveway.

Sorry for the lack of VW content & poor quality pics, but you get the idea.

The shed is chocker's full of stuff at the moment with truck parts, VW engine's & parts. Had to move the GTI to another residence so I can continue work on my truck.
With the truck & the GTI both in there it's a tight fit but then I can't get my R1 out so it's easier to leave the GTI elsewhere.

http://xs114.xs.to/xs114/07161/DSC00422.JPG (http://xs.to)

Up behind the false wall is the workshop were I build my engines, make most of my parts & store my spare's, engine's etc.

I know the engine isn't finished. I dummied up the engine to show the owner how big it would be. Blown big block. The bugger almost broke my engine stand too.
It did end up making nice power though.

i work 2 jobs and im a full time student and during the holidays i work either for my old man or as a construction site laborer.
next year im planning on taking a year off to work full time in an architects firm whilst continuing with my free lance photographic work after hours.

i actually paid for half of the car as my father is semi retired and therefor doesnt need a car much so i just share it with him. he will get another car but thats probably another year away (hopefully an Audi A5)

my first GTI was actually dud so i traded it back in to the dealer for another one. the cost of the change over was actually less than the depreciation that the car had dropped in its 18months so i just came out on top.
