Just wondering everyones ownerships costs - servicing, fuel, insurance? The more details the better (especially for insurance but obviously up to you)

I don't have one yet so I can't exactly start off but online comprehensive insurance quote for me (will be 25)
RACV $13-1400
AAMI ~$1800
Coles $2300
Some random company off iselect $5800(!!!)

whats so special about the 2nd service to charge $770

even $440 for the first seems like a rip off

you would have to be mad to pay those prices

yeah my roc gets about 11-12L/100km in average city driving. much, much better on the open road of course. it's not too bad for a car of it's weight and performance really.

tyres are fairly expensive but 235/19 is becoming a more common size these days and tyres out of the US are cheap atm.

servicing is not really more or less expensive than any other comparable car. the long service intervals obviously reduce the cost but leaving a car for 15,000km without a service does worry me a bit. it certainly goes against my grain.

I'm not sure what my dealer charges for service as I got them to include first and second service for free.

Good to know these fuel costs, little less than I expected.

I hope the thrill of driving at whatever speed was worth the fine ;)

That's about $100 cheaper than 1st year 6 monthly service of my Mazda2 (stealership prices, had to ring around for best price)
