Has anyone supercharged or know of anyone that has supercharged a v6? either a vr6, bora or passat? After having a long talk with a car buff mate of mine who has a number of very quick cars, im considering dropping a supercharger in my v6 bora. What do you guys think, is this feasible and will i need to sell myself to pay for it? lol. Seriously though id be very interested in getting some advice from anyone that knows anything about it as im pretty sure it would be more than i know. things such as performance improvements, if other mods needed such as stronger clutch, difs, etc.. thanks guys.

dragan from inmotive had the hpa turbo kit in his r32 for a while.. you will be selling a lot more then yourself to get one of these kits fitted up to your bora :P

most kits are like $9-15k US + shipping + fitting

I have been quoted 5K for a turbo conversion!!! But the money tree is going to need to grow into a forest for that one :D

5k does sound a tad cheap. To do it properly youre probly looking at close to that in parts!

I wouldnt mind one of these for my VR6 and think they are quite easy to install

Just remember you need to do everything else at the same time.

Brakes, diff etc etc.

But, I reckon you should do it anyway ;) I have been quoted about 10 K.
