A friend over the weekend introduced me to a product i never knew about, just thought i would post it up.

Meguiares Quick Clay.

dont worry about polishing ur car no more, this stuff is incredible, used it over the weekend and gave my car a glassy finish.
it removes all the crap off your car, much better than all the waxes & polishes ive used in the past.

i have a 04 gti and the paint has a finish of a brand new car.

if you like the mequiares one, you'll love the Mothers Clay Bar and the Zymol Klay will absolutely blow you away!!!

You do need to wax after you clay the car thou.

might give them a try next time, i did actually end up polishing it after the clay, the polish gives it the finishing touch, i cant believe i never knew about this stuff!

Best thing to get to remove all those imbedded crap that you can't get off with a regular rag and car shampoo! I did the whole car with the same product before the Nationals and it was so smooth! Just a note, clay will remove wax so you must reapply it after claying. It is also not a substitute for polish/wax but the combination of the two will provide excellent results :) Don't use too much of it though as it removes bits of the clearcoat everytime you use. Think of it as very very very fine wet sandpaper.
