I can't seem to get more than 450k's from my tank (~12.5l/100.)

Its 100% city driving with an average trip being around 20mins (I work 12k's from home and the car doesn't get driven on the weekends...)

Just wondering what everybody else is getting?

My average is 15L/100
Worst I've had is 20L/100 for a tank (full tank gone in 298km)

I need help :(

In every day driving I rarely rev past 3500-4000 and that still lets me be faster off the lights than 90% of people and I certainly don't drive slow, just smooth I guess.

In Sydney I was getting around 11.5 L/100km, since moving to Canberra I get around 10.8 L/100km. I regularly get 530+kms out of a tank these days (which is a good thing as I drive 700+kms a week at the moment)

I get around an average of 11l/100 over a tank which is usually about 520km. Mind you thats pretty consistantly a tank of 62l and something 65 which is impressive in a 62l tank haha.

Ok, its a little unfair to compete when you have a larger tank! :)

Consumption goes up when you hear how good the CAI sounds at 6k rpm :P

Oh, i was just kidding cause you said you can get 65 into a 62l tank. :)

Maybe you have smaller petrol over that way. :)

haha, I know mine's got 4 extra cylinders, but I average 20L/100kms around town in the RS4 and most of the travel is urban by the Mrs who doesnt have a lead foot.

I'm lucky to get 400kms from a 68L tank

I get in the 10s running Caltex 98 around town, 12 - 13 Running BP Ultimate 98 / Shell 95

I get in the 8s on the highway with all fuels... seems to make no difference here.

Some think I am imagining things, but the fuels do make a difference to my car, I don't know why...?

I think I've got the same mechanicals as you bora guys, just maybe a slightly lighter body? Anyway, Just checked my trip computer, and over the last 2258 miles (3634km) got an average of 29.2mpg (9.7L/100) and 27mph (44kph). So that's a mix of traffic jams and highways and the odd country cruise. At the start of that 2k miles I was using 95, but have switched to 98 in recent months and have seen an improvement. Just had cruise control fitted too, so am hoping to see some benefit from that.
