Hello Guys

I was on my way home when i decided to fill up my car. So i stopped in at caltex and put in some vortex 98. I got back into my car and when i turned the key to the on position (without turning the car on) i noticed that the ESP OFF light came on and stayed on. Also the ESP light on the dash and the Exhaust Emission warning light came on as well. So i drove it home. It was less than 2kms to home. The car felt absolutely normal. I have had a search through the forums and there was a post about the possibility of my APR tune not being selected properly. Also that the ESP light may be caused by my tyres. Could anyone else give me ideas about what else to look at?

Have you turned the car on and off a few times to see if it clears? My subaru used get a fault light on the dash, but would reset after turning on and off a few times (as in 3-5 times).

Yeah i sure have. I went through and made sure my tune was selected correctly as well. I have found a hose clamp that has become loose on my intake but the intake hose was still on tight. Am going to grab a new one during lunch break. Will see how i go. I also called Quattro Motors who have done all work on my car and they were very helpful. Just waiting for them to call me back.

Google ESP engine light and MAF.

Need to read the car with VCDS etc

Ok i checked all clamps and everything is tight. Used the APR fault code erase as a test and the codes came back straight away. I also noticed that the usual start up sound when cold is way quieter than normal. I am now suspecting the SAI. Just waiting on Quattro to get back to me. As i said before the car still appears to run fine. Should i worry about driving it if this has failed?
