Thats insane! It'd be worth buying just to strip the bits off. Cheaper than buying them individually.

I'm 99% sure this is owned by a forum member. Shame to see he's selling it but this is a BARGAIN for anybody serious about creating a killer VR6.

If I had the cash, I'd honestly consider getting this myself.

Someone buy it, bring it down to Sydney and Ill buy some parts like the suspension, muffler and gearbox off you. I would buy it if not for those stupid p plate laws :(

You should buy it for the suspension, muffle and gearbox. I'll buy whatever's left off you. Police wouldn't know what our engines look like and I've never been asked to pop my bonnet so doubt you'd get done for it on p plates.

p.s. not my fault if someone gets busted for it :D

I would but it's a massive trek and effort getting it from W.A :( Split the cost, you take engine and other parts and ill take the rest :D :D

It's only $920 shipping to a nsw door. So that's call it $3500.

Manifold $1800
Cams $500
Whatever else engine wise $500
Suspension $500
Wheels/tyres $500
Interior (condition dependent)$500

Makes it worthwhile.. To take what you need and sell the rest.

No offense meant but I think your values are a bit off.

I think these are a bit more realistic.

Manifold $1000(based on last one sold and only usable on OBD2)
Cams $250(used cams)
Whatever else engine wise $200(a used and smokey VR)
Suspension $300(used)
Wheels/tyres $3-400(newish)
Interior (condition dependent)$200(is not leather and based on the condition of the rest of the vehicle)

I've only seen one manifold for sale and that's zales $1600.

Cams are $800 new. There's probably 3 sets of 268's in Australia.

the last one I saw actually sell, not just for sale....and these manifolds can only be used specifically for OBD1 or OBD2 they're not interchangeable, at least not without a fair amount of difficulty and added cost.
If I'm not mistaken most(75%) VR6s in aus are OBD1 therefore won't work with this manifold.

New 268s are $500
Even if they were $800 new, second hand stuff is generally worth less than half second hand depending on condition, and as others have mentioned this looks thrashed.

That's stupidly cheap.

They are easily changed from obd1 to obd2.

Schrick 268's are $850 from mjm. Haven't seen cheaper anywhere else.

Obd1 was only for 94 and a bit of 95. I would think most are obd2.

Aussie OB2 vs US OB2 is different.
