um, gpk just told me that it might take few hours for it to update wen i switch ecu's.. has any1 else heard that??
i only put it in for less than 5mins and went for a thrash and was stock.

Interesting............lol....can anyone think why it boosts at 7psi on Rays and 15psi on mine???????

lol didnt feel a difference at all, even got a mate to drive it and was slow still.

have you looked for a boost leak? sorry for stating a obvious point to start..

First check the t-piece. look at the engine from the front of car and connect to the point closest to the fire wall. That made a big difference with mine.

Get seb to also tune your car to run a higher boost.

aftermarket bits are mbc but didnt use it wen i put new ecu in, had the n75

yep thats where its connected...
also boosting the max on our stock cars which is 11.5-12 with the mbc

i know your boosting the max so am I but you need to tune the engine to run that much boost or it lags.

he clears any computer errors and puts some codes in .... I dunno mechanic stuff.

All i know is i took it to him and it has not running this good ever.:D

lol think she means tune my mbc and maybe use a program like lemmewink or sumthing.. i'v heard of people doing it on passatworld. make timings faster or sumthin like that

oh what ever but its still the computer controling the problem here, why not ask the apr guys the know what they are on about, not just internet mechanics.

just get a haltech interceptor and be done with it :)

her car doesnt have any problems, mine prob does..
but yeh wats haltech interceptor? if it cost over $1k dont tell me LOL centerlink budgets here thats why i bought a 2nd hand chip :rolleyes:

i'v always thought my car couldnt be flashed with software and had to be chipped.

Aren't yours chipped, ray bro you got some serious boost issues if thats the case, get them soughted out ASAP!

The ECU can be chipped or flashed. When chipped, an additional computer chip is soldered on the ECU. However, when flashed, the entire ECU program may be changed (no additional chip is installed) and if there is an aftermarket chip already on the ECU, the chip's program may also be changed...

Isn't only the newer VW's are flashed and mk4 and older are soldered on!

AFAIK, the B5 onwards Passat ECUs can be flashed...
