If I recall correctly (and I might not), it was an alternative name for BP's ultra low sulphur diesel @ 50 ppm.

However, 50 ppm sulphur diesel has been outlawed since 1 Jan 2009, with 10 ppm the new limit as far as on-road usage is concerned.

Whatever is printed on the receipt may not actually reflect what was really sold to you, but if you suspect otherwise, you should contact BP directly for an explanation:

I hope you will be OK. My understanding is that ALL diesel that is sold for road use is ULSD 10ppm. The only industries that can use 50ppm are mining and agriculture. I am hoping that your servos computers were not updated to reflect the change in diesel quality. As Diesel_vert suggested ring the servo concerned for a clarification.

What I actually said was to contact BP directly.

If you contact the place where you bought the fuel, they may not tell the truth or deny there's a problem at all (assuming there actually is a problem) and the issue may not be resolved satisfactorily for all concerned.

Now, if there is indeed a problem but BP can't/won't address the issue, then you should get the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities (http://www.environment.gov.au/atmosphere/fuelquality/index.html) involved, who can take the operator to the Federal Court and get injunctions issued against them. (http://www.environment.gov.au/atmosphere/fuelquality/news/index.html)

With particulate filters being expensive as they are, the last thing motorists need is fuel that does not comply with regulations. :mad:
