Formally known as Ovalglen.
I will be getting my Scirocco soon.
It is a Mk1 TS 1.6 with twin Dells.
Needs Paint... and thats my first decision, what colour?
I have been looking through Images and changing colours...
I have narrowed down to Med Dark Blue.
Here is a What use to look like [ thanks Mk1scirocco16vT for using your image]
a digital mock up

Hey Hydro
Nice work in scoring a Mk1 Scirocco. I have heard of this mythical beast tucked away in a garage in Liverpool.
Get it going mate.
The second pic is a Mk2 rocco, check out the rear quarter and front lights. Your Mk1 can never look like this.
However, it can look like a very cool Mk1.

Love the mk1 rocco, they are way cool

Had one for 8 years, awesome little driver :) downside it was dark metallic blue so it was an oven in summer

This mystery Car is not in Liverpool yet. It used to be in Fairfield.

I didnt even notice it was a different model - the pic.
I was just thinking of the general scheme.
It has the spoilers and things - they may not be as Phatt as the ones in the mock-up.
Oh well , I'll learn.
Glenn.

20 here you think, I thought it was less. I well may need a panel. I'll have to
check out the guard that was damaged 15 years ago - see if repair was
good.

Thanks Everyone for the welcome.

For the rebuild, it probably wont be a Monster Motor - I just want to enjoy driving it.
With fuel costs - It will need to be economical - then it will see lots of use.

You wont regret buying it. I sold my Mk1 about 2 yrs ago and although it was 25yo, it was still great to drive every day. It is still on the road though and is living with at least 2 others in Perth which are being rebuilt from the ground up.
