Just trying to clarify if I need a cat convertor if I buy a 2.5 DP. They all seem to come with the??
Can i just get a straight DP and mate to the stock system.Car is Revo stage 1

The cat is in the downpipe, so I'd buy a DP with one for obvious reasons. Lots of "test pipes" on ebay with the associated risk of getting caught. A high flow cat isn't that restrictive.

what Gav said mate. The hp increase is negligible and the fine is massive.

Cheers gavin.Any reasonable priced DP come to mind.Also mate, I have asked in a previous post about the audi Tt 225 hp DIvertor valve.ECS doing them cheap at the mo and I hear they are a slight upgrade to the stock one.

We have the new SPM MK4 DP due to land hopefully late next week. 3" fully TIG welded thick walled stainless. Includes 200 cell cat and vband clamps required for easy installation

Hoping to retail it at around $599 including GST

You could try Greg, for a price on 42DD.

Personally I am not convinced that the new 710 would outlast an ebay alloy dv. Just saying. ;)

You may also need a bung for the 2nd Lambda probe port.
Early models have only 1 sensor, newer have 2.

Thanks Gav but Tim wins over 42DD me thinks, their mild steel value line with Cat is $515 delivered, and that's the cheapest option I have for MKIV.
