which chip did you buy, where from and how much?

The majority of chips range from 0.8-1.0bar (11.6-14.5) from what I can figure out.

think the amount of boost also depends on what other mods u have...

my wett chip can hold 1.4 bar quite easily, but i'm running a K04 and EBC...

just another question...

could i use my manual boost controller instead of the n75 with a chipped car? because on my stock, with mbc i feel the jolt of power kick in where the n75 is like smooth.

iirc, the mbc works in conjuction with the N75 and will help increase the boost pressure.

although i know a few who have gone this route, it is generally not recommended as the mbc settings are "hit or miss" type.

an alternative would be to change the N75 to one with a more aggressive setting...

how much psi is that? sorry dont know how to convert.

1 BAR = 14.504 PSI at 0 FT Above Sea Level, so that makes 1.8 BAR = 26.107 PSI.

Cheers

moving from Singapore - hope that all will be smooth...

Hope you have done your homework on bringing the car over, not the most straight forward of things to do. Might be easier to just bring the turbo kit and buy another car here.

Good luck

Gavin

Actually posted under general chat for advise as well as contacted a Sydney guy specialising in bringing cars in - was told that it should not be too difficult...

jst checkn things up..

my stock reads about 5psi 1st n 2nd, then 3rd it gets to about 7psi..

is that right or something wrong? should my 1st n 2nd be 7psi?
