Mk1 1.8t conversions

Who knows or can help me out with a 1.8t gti motor or TT whatever, into a mk1 shell?

Any advise would be sweet.

There is a bloke from Rockingham in WA who has done the conversion in a '76 mate, can't remember the thread name for it though.. Pretty sure it's in the Mk1 section.
