[edit] this has now been sold.

After some miscommunication between myself and the supplier, I have a milltek golf 2.75" catback exhaust system for sale.

It will fit a tdi golf mk5, comes with all parts necessary connections to install from the stock downpipe back and is brand new (has not been used!).

I have a similar system on my jetta so you can hear the sound etc before buying if you like.

$700 but all reasonable offers considered. It cost significantly more than this... Id also consider swapping it for suspension components too.

Would prefer for the buyer to pickup from se Melbourne.

Part Numbers:

msau343 – Connecting section for use with Milltek downpipe.
msvw337 – Connecting section for stock downpipe
msvw259 – Non-resonated centre section
msvw365 x2 – Twin 80mm tips
msvw260 – Rear silencer

TDI only? Would you know if it fits a GTI?

Hey mate.

I've been told that this system is actually from a 2.0 TFSI Golf, but fits the 2.0 TDI perfectly.

Would you be installing yourself? Im located in Melb. too and id be happy with a 'If it fits you buy it. If it don't, then you dont but it' approach.

Hey Mate, no I wouldn't be fitting it myself. Let me consult my mechanic and ask him if the exhaust would fit. Hopefully he should know as he's an authorized Milltek reseller.

Would This fit a 2.0 FSI no turbo golf, from the cat back, or just rear and centre sections??

Hi guys,

I've updated the original post to include more details.

As stated earlier, there was some miscommunication with the supplier and i was sent two exhaust system in the end. I seem to have gotten my part numbers mixed up! The parts i have have been included in the original post. Apologies for any confusion.

Cheers.

I think it would but it would be worth doing a quick google. From what i can tell, all golfs (excluding r32's) use the same layout etc.

Apologies. I had the wrong part numbers... To many parts have come and gone recently! Original post updated.

Doing a quick google with the updated part numbers, it should fit either your application with either a stock downpipe or Milltek downpipe. Bit of future proffing i guess...

No worries mate. Im sure you'll be happy with the system once your DP arrives. For you interest, i had a local exhaust shop fit my TBE for $150 and that included modification (read cutting...) to the rear bumper so the tips could fit.

I gotta say, secretly i was disappointed you didnt bring the GTI around. Ive never been in one and wouldnt mind goin for a squirt! haha.

Thanks mate, can't wait to get the system fitted!

I'm sure we can arrange something after the exhaust is fitted. Having a squirt on a Stage 2 would be more fun than a Stage 1 :P
