Meeting point A : M4 eastern creek McDonalds 9:30am - 10am, LEAVING AT 10am at the latest
Meeting point B: outside m5 tunnel truckstop for st george/east guys/girls 8am? (not confirmed)

Guess what guys I left my regio to the last min, was getting my pink slip today, he failed me coz he couldn't fix my wipers coz of blew fuse. :-x . It's due 20th. which is today !!!!!
Booked at 8:30 for an auto electrian..... PLEASE PLEASE no major issue. I don't want to be missing out this cruise coz no regio.

Any one know what happens if I am 1-2 days ova due for my regio? are there extra fees involved ? Can't believe this.

Car is washed and thats about it :(. New window regulator is in, tho door trims still off. I might do that at the bbq just incase something happens.

I gotta get that boot lock for u matt, still havent had time to take it off. Did u need the tailgate lock or the actual lock mechanism at the bottom of the hatch?

Also gotta get those snags i promised :D:D:D But otherwise im ready!!!!

Woot back at home already! Great drive, nice and windy roads but stupid traffic slowed us down! Sausages, noodles and wings were great as usual tho desert didnt turn out as good :rolleyes:

Overall great day, cant wait to see the pics up and good to see the continuing tradition of road side repairs!!!!!!! :D:D

Got to the first meeting spot pretty quick. 13 cars at that point.

I reckon thats the quickest alternator change ever. From pulling up at the side of the road and whipping one off and putting another on and driving away was about 5 mins. Thanks to Smithy for the tool. Typical Mk1 owner

It was a good day today - decent turnout of cars (around 12 from memory) with a good mix of new and old skool cars to check out, and for a couple, repair!

Highlights included:

1. The drive - crusin on the great western before giving the cars a rip on darling causeway and for a part of the bells road, before I nearly rammed a Kia up its ass.
2. Lunch! great spot Louis - was a perfect place to chill out and have a beer and a feed.
3. Getting to know everyone and put faces to some names.
4. Listening to the R32 drive off at Richmond - the sound is pure sex!

George - hope you get your car fixed soon and its nothing too major.

We will have to organise another one later this year and try and get some more ppl to join!

great day guys! really had to be one of our better cruises! everyone mixed and spoke to different people and there was a mix of slow and faster bits of road.
alot of different cars which was even better! one diesel mk1! woohoo! which went pretty darn good!
Food was good as usual but next time we take our own bbq !!! noodles were a gourmet delight!!!
driving back,slowly through the mountains;),with dub20v ahead of the pack,,I blew a IC pipe! arrgghhh had to drive 50ks back to richmond before I removed the wheel and re connected!,,,, stopped at the RAAF base and ZORAN caught up to us ! haha with the OLD PASSAT! cool car!

On the way back to my cousins,did a 0-60 run with him off the lights ,,um,,again I blew my pipe,but I swear I would have had him! hehehe

was a fantastic day!!!! photos coming now!!!:D

gpk, those wheels really dont fill the guards up as nice as the others! when you put 16s on you really realise how low the car sits too eh!
