Hmmm. What else has been done to the car? Angel eyes look the part but would the down pipe really give you that much of a gain? If the cars has been chipped and has had a bigger turbo then I might lean towards the downpipe - otherwise I'd go the angel eyes!

thats what im thinking, there will be a really small amount of extra power on the other hand angel eyes make so much of a difference. im just not sure how they will look on a silver gti in daylight.

gpk u stay out of this one lol im not listening to u!

Hahah you're such a lebo goce :D

Downpipe isn't all power - It does make that niice spoooling sound.

I'd go downpipe then angel eyes, or both done together :D

(Only reason I don't like angel eyes that much is the replacement headlight is usually ****house quality)

Nah its actually not. The front bar has to come off but wiring it up looks easy as. Golf3 chucked some in his car on the weekend and it took him less than half an hour to wire them up and fit them.

Well - I'm sure there are a few of us here who can speak from experience and say the TIP is a bugger of a thing to fit. Wich one did you have in miond? I know this thread has been going for a wee bit now - have you already got it?

gpk_gti
21-08-2007, 08:25 AM
fitting requires removal of front bar, which isnt too hard.maybe 1 hr or so.

na i dont have them yet, when and if i do get them it will be from brooks parts plus in wetherill park. just that its local and if i do have any problems with the lights its close-by
and i wll be cautious if they're the china ones or not...
