Almost bought a fully optioned Jetta TSi... However, the quality of the trimmings in the Passat and having the extra room won me over! Lots of head turns the first month and now starting to see a few more out and about. Seems the wagon's a very popular.
Hope your enjoying yours :)

Yes I was gonna get a fully optioned Jetta 147tsi as well
But like you the size of the passat is better.
Yeah I ve seen a few wagons around.
Mines a sedan coz the boss doesn't like the wagon due to
that airy noise in the back.
I havent seen how economical my tdi is since I haven't ran the full tank yet but as current it's doin 9.3l/100km
Did yours do that when you had it new?

I have had the CC Passat TDI for 3 years, now have 130000 kms up. Economy is amazing. I travelled to country twice a week (about 900 kms per week) and averaged 5.3 with city driving thrown in. On flat stretch of road can get low 4's. Have seen over 1400kms on range, but mostly around 1200-1300 per tank. Without country driving low to mid 6's is really easy. Also have a 1.9 Golf Diesel, but Passat is more fuel efficient on long trips, while around town they are pretty close. Having a contest to see which is better in city driving. I have to beat 5l/100 on a 24km run to work, need to drive with very light foot. For a car of its size, not much beats this.
