Does anyone know if a 1999 audi quattro wheels will fit on a VR6? My boss has his old set of wheels and hes giving them away? I know they are 16" with a slight dish and have a few spokes. 5x100?

anyone know? Just need to decide if they fit first.

Cheers guys

What sort of quattro?
If the engine in the Audi is transverse, the wheels will fit. (5x100)
If the engine longitudinal, no (5x112).

How does the quattro compare GeoffP, any difference in quality

Ive never owned an Audi but i wouldnt mind to see what they are like, and how different of an animal they are.

anyone else know about the wheels?

My Audi was front wheel drive only - but having said that it handled very nicely. The only down side to it was the A3 suffered from steering torque. The front wheels pulled a lot, the harder I accelerated, the more the steering wheel "fought" my hands.

I was very surprised when I looked a the VW Golf Sportline TDi DSG, it was way cheaper than the A3, had the same build quality and overall just had "more".

I only up'd to the Jetta for the boot space, but got a lot "more" again with the car.

Cheers,
Geoff.
