Hi everyone . I have a 2001 VW passat 2.8 V6 4motion . I bought the car 2 weeks ago when its already broke timing belt . All i have done in the local workshop is put another engine in and plus new timing belt and waterpum plus fan . When i come to pick up the car , the mechanic told me that the transmision is not communicating with the ECU ( computer ) . Its still driveable but take a bit longer than normal to go up to the topgear . i Dont know what is best opption for me to do now . Anyone has been in this problem before with the passat please give me some advise asap please . My phone number is 0412 592 804 . Thanks guys!
