RDA gold passivated turbo grooved sport rotors

Anybody have any comments on these. Directionally slotted and drilled/dimpled. What are they worth new.

I've got the RDA slotted on my T5 and they distorted after 20,000km , I can't say that I would be hard on the brakes, the front pads (Bendix GCT) still had 11mm remaining, that's after 20,000km.

Gold passivated just means they have been zinc plated with hexavalent chromium and it gives them that horrible rainbow yellow colour, doesn't really add any benefit whatsoever. I looked into rda discs a while ago, came up with a lot of the same stories as transporter...
