Jesus! I really didn't know i was gonna get so many replies so quick!. Many thanks to all the comments ,. I will quickly reply to as many of the questions ,

the double cab is a 69 low light
got a 1998 legacy gtb front cut and decided that the dash may look ok in the bus also, and its a near perfect fit. Everything had to come back 300 mm due do depth( gear lever, steering, seats, etc) it was too good to chuck.
Should be good for about 230kw with minor mods done! Spent a fortune on 2 litre gearbox, all albins radial straight cut gears, super diff, heavy duty bonded clutch with lightened flywheel. i have plans for hillclimb ,drags come street cruiser for this long term headache.

The caravelle v6 is out of a 99 passat 4 motion ,please correct me if i am wrong, I saw the car it was in before we pulled it and it was flat in the bum from a gum tree branch that no longer wanted to live!. That van is ridiculously over powered now! I can smoke those 17" 245s for some distance. It's the wifes child taxi, and she does like to be first of the lights!.
Unfortunately its an auto though, and i am on trans number 3 . This one is from a Audi 100 and it seems to be doing the business.

This was my first van i built back in 1999, It was a legacy rs turbo South African T25. I ran this down the quarter mile with a 70 km head wind and its an auto and got a 15.99 second 400 metre!. This was real fun to drive. Once you go to turbo's, its hard to go back!!!. I think this is in Melb or Syd now.

G'day & welcome to the forum Kurt.
Loving both the previous & current project's.

Nice to see another person thinking outside the box with these project's & not just the drivetrain side of thing's either but the whole shabang!

I've some footage from the Jamboree @ Willobank of a Bay Bus with a 20BT in it. Sound's awesome & bloody fast too! Last I heard it was in running DYO low 12's

Cheers Golfworx, I did read in a hot 4s mag some time ago , there was a pic of this bay camper( orange i think) with a 13b turbo and it was pulling crazy rear wheel kw from memory bout 340. I think he had plans for a 20b for it.I wonder if it is the same one??.
