New power window switch??

hi all,

Im a little pissed off as the drivers side power window switches on my 2008 GTI have started playing up consistently. I did some testing and it would appear the switches are at fault.

Question is where do I buy new ones? any ideas how much VW sell them for? any other sources. Oriental parts dont seem to have them listed.

its a bit unusual for things to be breaking on a 4yr old car...

haha confusing things doesnt help at all. Where is the control module? and can it be tested?

Im leaning towards to control module.....as the fault seems too intermitent to be the switch.....and the fact that the windows wont work for the whole trip and then start working randomly just standing at the lights.

Where is the control module located? and can it be tested? Anyone know?

really frustrating problem. i have owned it for 5 months and am really getting over its little 'issues'

I replaced the switch and the problem is still the same.

Any suggestions?
