Well, its been fun times over the past 6-7 months...

To this:

And didn't like the Sv6 at all... long story short.

This resulted:

As of Friday, needed new tyres so got these fitted too:

Not overly convinced as ordered the full machine lip and not just the pin strip on the wheel... but figure ill go Q7 / Toureg wheels in a year...

Overall, happy with the CC, have done approx 1k in it already as only filled up once and still have over 600k left in the tank. love the rns510, but again very disappointed that the SV6 has Iphone / bluetooth out of the box whereas my CC will cost me at least $1k to get it done right. but its a VW again and couldn't be happier!

Just out of curiosity, what was it about the SV6 that you didn't like? I had a SV6 Sportwagon (series 1, SIDI, 6sp auto) as a rental in Tassie in 2010, and I quite enjoyed it. Of course, my R36 is far better, but it's also far more expensive.

You should look into the Kufatec FISCON kits, should be able to come in under $1k fitted, I think.

SV6 is a great thing in terms of price / affordability, but the finish of my one (i brought brand new) was appaling.
3x IQ issues
1x AC issue (receiver/dryer perished @10k)
1x ABS fault that supposedly not a fault (i'm sorry, but when i reverse my car, ABS shouldn't be self testing everytime)
1x seat issue where the back rest started failing (after 3k)
1x rear carpet not properly moulded to the floor, so resulted in bunching up
1x Steering wheel issue where buttons would do what they wanted when pressed i.e. trip button morhps into nav button etc

Traded the car with 22,500k's. So imagine what it was going to be @ <100k's when the lease was up?

Overall, was a nice car, but to me a car is an extension of yourself... Thus the SV6 was not me.
