Custom-Code in the UK are in the final stages of testing DSG tunes for the R. These will be ODB flashes I am told and should be available early in the New Year.

No idea on the pricing yet but I would expect it to be well under $1000 for Phase 1.

Extra details will be posted as they become available.

Will keep you up to date on developments. If the improvements are as good as on the GTI/R32 etc. I think there'll be plenty of cars being flashed.

OK people, I could be looking for "test subjects" in the very near future.

#hoping you're still keen swalee I just emailed you.

Any others fancy a DSG tune up on their R in Brisbane? 7 speed DQ200s are getting close too.

I am getting the module for flash lead tonight, so R DSG flashes should be available by morning.

Ok folks, it's been a while.....Got this little lot in the post this morning.

In the photo are the leads to connect directly/bench the DSGs. The 2 round connectors are for the DQ250 6 speed and DQ500 when that is released. The square ECU connector is for the DQ200 7speed.

Saturday already :D

The price for the R is $750 for Phase 1 and Phase 2 is $850.

The earlier 6 speeders have had the prices reduced to $600 for Phase 1 and $700 for Phase 2.

The process involves reading the DSG directly with the lead, under the bonnet. The new file can then be loaded through the OBD port after has been written.
