MKVI Golf LED License Plate Lights (*NOTE will also fit 11-up EOS & 2012 New Beetle*) - $49.95

Look good leaving. These great new LED license plate lights throw a brighter light, cooler than the yellow light from the OE incandescent bulbs they replace.

Any idea if these are compatible with a MY11 Skoda Octavia vRS wagon?
I installed 'CANbus error free' LEDs and they cause an error to be displayed on the MFD.
Thanks

You guys are a joke. This is an Australian forum and you advertise free shipping within the US? Your shipping prices to Australia are ridiculous, there are plenty of other international sites with reasonable shipping prices and as such no-one from here takes your site seriously so why even bother advertising here?

Sorry, this LED kit will not fit a Skoda Octavia vRS wagon.

We feel the products that ECS offers the Australia market are something that not every vendor may have access to. There is also a fluctuating exchange rate that gives the Australian dollar more buying power in the US, so even when you factor in shipping costs it could be more favorable to buy from ECS in the US.

Hmmm lets look at some shipping costs from the ECS site to Adelaide post code 5041:

$42 shipping for a pair of bulbs.
$41 shipping for a $40 oil cap.
$41 shipping for a $20 usb flash drive.

Oh and this I find particularly funny:

1 x set of 4 rims worth $549.95 - shipping cost from ECS site = $922.65! Total cost of $1,472.60!

1 set of rims from tirerack.com cost about $300 shipping to OZ.

Dont pretend that you care about selling to Australian customers when you clearly just want to profit from the shipping costs.

I have bought one part for my Jetta from ECS that was only two thirds the price (inc shipping)of what I could get it here for. However I was interested in the chrome bezel add ons for my HVAC controls that were $20 but then freight was $40! ECS don't seem to have a lower rate of shipping for the smaller items. Even at $20 freight I would be interested but not at $40.

How bout it ECS?

I have recently bought from ECS and even with shipping it was only two thirds the price of the local supplier. So noy everything is more expensive.

However I was interested in a bit of bling for the interior of my Jettaand the small package was going to cost $40 for a $20 item!

How bout it ECS? If you lower your freight prices them you will get more custom from Australia.

Thanks for all the orders, all I can say is we can not control the freight prices - make sure when you order something from across the world that you make that order count!

Thanks, Andy
