Quick question...

Could anyone that has a MK4 Golf, please check what the part number is on the label/sticker/decal on the plastic battery cover.

if your car did not come with the hard battey cover you will need to get the soft battery bag, or do you mean your box is missing, i will find the part no.

I have the hard plstic box, but I am sure that I have seen an OEM Sticker on the front face of the box before. (on another Golf of course)

Change of plans - you'll have to wait untill tomorrow. They are keeping my car overnight. :(

Are they fixing the starter motor problem?

Yeah - they are re-conditioning the starter motor. One less thing I'll have to worry about at a later date!
