Hi guys!

I've been doing a lot of work on my 1976 Golf LS since I bought it.
(Not like crazy restoring stuff like you guys! just like renewing and replacing old parts..)

Now I found my brake booster is F$#%ed..
Brake pedal is really hard to press and makes idle rough on stastionary, poor brake performance...

I've searched but only info of replacement posts with other boosters and master cylinders.
I know you guys would like to upgrade with better ones
but I don't think I need a better one to put on. I just want to repair my booster..
(actually lazy to replace the master cylinder and breed the system since I just did it..)

Any idea to get a repair kit? or a new booster (impossible for sure)

help me, please

cheers,

Give Nick at Volksparts in Canberra a call

He's got 74 MK1's in his back yard

I went to a Pick-a-part type wrecker that had a few Mk1 Golfs and pulled a booster off one of those - luckily it worked fine.
