Can someone who knows eg Transporter tell me how cruicial the following is "Lubricate Turbo’s VNT linkage with Hi Temp Lubricant".(Wurth)
I had a pretty ordinary 45km "service" performed in Broome, and they signed the service record, didn't even change the oil filter( couldn't recommend them) it ended up being an oil change only without any extras.
Can I afford to wait now at 52k km until the 60k km service for this.
Should I carry a can of above mentioned lubricant with me, and use it it harsh conditions. If yes how do I access the turbo's linkages please? PS Is there a "Transporter" operating in Victoria??

Sorry for the late respond.
Yes, the turbo linkage needs to be lubricated at the prescribed intervals. You can see it from under the car and also from the top, easy to perform. I will post the pictures later on.
...and I don't operate in Victoria, am based south Adelaide. Any independent specialist workshop will be able to do it for you, and don't wait for next service, get that oil filter replaced ASAP.
