The brakes of my 97 Polo have been squealing especially in cold temperature.
I google a cure for squealing brakes and stumble on "TyrolSport Brake Caliper Stiffenings Kit".
Does anybody know if this part will fit Polo Mk4 6N 1997?
Any suggestion where to get similar part to cure the squealing brakes?
Thank you in advance.

According to their site the polo isnt listed. I would contact them and ask to be sure.

Squealing brakes are usually caused by brake dust. Get the garden hose and spray the calipers for a minute, that should get the dust out. Let it dry before you take it for a drive.

FWIW I ran a group buy of these a few years back, there have been mixed reviews ranging from no immediate effect to great , I can only speak for myself and I found there to be a noticable improvement in braking on my Bora 4mo.
To answer your squeak question, theres numerous lubricants / pad lining solutions on the market, I found a CRC product which goes on as a liquid paste and sets into a rubber like consistency. Its applied to the back faces of the pads and appeared to make some inprovements, but it's life was limited to about 2-3 mths.

Thank you all for the information. I have e-mail Tyrol and supply the specs of the disc rotor and calipers and they don't supply the stiffening kit for Polo mk4 (6N).
I agree with goodfella, the lubricants/liquid paste only last 3 months. So, what is my option now?
Is there any other "hardware" that can be put into the calipers to silent the "rubbery squeaking"? or should I change the calipers (Bendix currently) to a new one.
Thank you.
