The black biza is owned by Tony aka "sharpy", has the KW V2's and handles well from what I could tell, he should be there this sat but not sure if he'll be in the biza . . .

and no, the officer let me off the hook as I told him it's getting flared this week so the wheels will be "legal", i'm getting the lips extended a bit and poke a lil higher like the front lip so i can lower it more :cool: should be done by thurs hopefully, safety cert thurs arvo/friday morning and rego friday arvo *fingers crossed* :D

Yes, quietly grazing in the field. They are quite docile, but don't get too close.....they growl, and can be known to bite.

It was a great day. Starting at Albert Park, then to Mill Park via Citylink and the Northern Ring Road.....Whittlesea.....Kinglake......Toolangi (I would recommend the Toolangi Tavern for lunch, great place).....Healesville.....Woori Yallock.....Gembrook......Belgrave, then Wellington Road, home.

Please don't be offended, but, as a Golfmk5.com. forum, GTG's are for Mk5 Golfs only, and not just GTI's, R32's etc. We had a schmick looking GT Sport TDI in Graphite Blue at the GTG. Also a Sportline with some really nice looking wheels. It's not meant to be elitist or anything like that, it's just that, as a Golf Mk5 forum, that's the way we feel it should be.

Maybe at some point there could be a joint VWwatercooled forum - Golfmk5 forum GTG some day.

Those wheels look awesome on the white golf VR, what are they ?

Nice to see a Corrado there too !! Jay, how come its got side repeaters on the wings as well as on the bumper?

I'll have to come on Brissy cruise next year when i'm living a bit closer, looks like a good turn out with some nice cars, love Trents R32.

You will have to come along to one of the cruises. The more Corrado's the better!!
The bumper ones were running lights I think. They were disconnected when I got the car. I put the ones in the wing to make it all legal when I was registering it. I'm getting the bumper sprayed at some stage and I'll just fill them in.

OK that makes sense, but are you sure they wern't side repeaters. i always thought the American ones were on the bumper?

Yeah i'll come up for one of these meets for sure, or a Gold Coast meet would be cool.

Same car that was on the cruise on my driveway (had a wheel change.....again!) And if you're wondering, yes they're semi-slicks.

they're like a road semi, laz in the red ibiza runs those but only cuz he's picked up wicked deals on them. . . . i def liked the old set up? why the compromise in wheels, surely buddy clubs n volks are readily available 2nd hand in his fitment? and i can hear the chassis creaking from here :cry:
