Just thought i'd share this with my fellow veedubbers, if anyone would be interested !


hoi.

this months EOMM will be held at Monash Clayton campus.

the details for the Monash Clayton meet:
Date: 28th saturday of May.
Time: 8:30pm till LATE.
Location: Monash Clayton campus 2nd level carpark on Ring road west, Clayton, Victoria, 3168.

East side pre meet
7:30 at Glen Waverly car park behind dan murphies car park next to the train station (where the previous pre meet was). any questions? shoot me a pm :).

West side pre meet

this meet was going to be held at Albert Park but due to the fact that there is a possible chance of it raining, we have resorted to Monash clayton being the host location for this months meet and will make next month's meet location more central so its more fair for everyone.

Mod edit: Please observe proper JDMST rules. No hooning, No burnouts, no excessive revving, no loud music.

^ We wont tolerate this behavior any more due to previous meets resulting in us being banned from perfectly fine locations and ruining the rest of the meet for others who have done nothing wrong. you will be reported if you are seen doing any of these activities within the premises and its okay to bring your friends along but you are solely responsible for bringing them.

ALSO BRING YOUR DRIFT RC CARS ALONG IF YOU WISH! 2nd level car park has a drift course layout :lol:.

But who knows, i've been to a few of JDMST's end of month meets, and its pretty crazy how much cars they have for a monthly meet !!

Im just eager in the rc drift cars hehe. Im uncertain how much cars will come to this one, i know they wanted to postpone it to next month due to the short notice.

As a matter of fact guys there is a JDM meet this friday too. I'll see if i can find the details to that.. it looks more promising

It seems fridays meet will be a cruise. Starts and meet is at Docklands, and off to coburg from there. A few of my mates are going with their civics, so i think it should be a good cruise. Sorry fellas, thats all the info i could gather on fridays meet.

Ohh damn that sucks. In that case i think its just better to wait for the June meet, as JDMST meets turn out really big when given proper notice. Thats the 3rd time the location has changed, so i doubt it'll be as big as it usually is.

I'm still up for it... Plus, I finally could be bothered wiring up my number plate lights to drive at night :D Up to you guys, really. I'll go if there are at least four of us. We'll feel too outnumbered by rice otherwise :p

P.S. Just checked the JDM forum and it looks like there are still a good bunch of people going. I'll probably bring camera gear and some light packs as well :)

I'd love to come past, but i was depending on cruising it down with my mates.

However after another location change they got dis-couraged. Not to mention doncaster to me is pretty damn far of a drive.

Yeah, good point. I'm not really keen on going to something if the cops are going to ream the sh&t out of us!! Might go for a drive this evening in any case, though, even I call past quickly :)

Just got back from there, NO COPS, didnt even see a security person.

Not as good turn out as last time at docklands, maybe 40 cars there. Keeping with the VAG scene, there was a black MK5 R32, a Black MK5 GTI, a 2000 Audi A4 and my polo.

Justin Fox was there from Vwgolf.net and Christina (SUGA), was great to have a chat to them, being they are down from Sydney for the weekend.

only 4 VAG cars

No cops? On a saturday? Thats just bs haha. When i do go to meets there is cops or security ppl complaning, and the one day i dont go there isnt :P

Anyway it seemed like a good turn out. I shall definately post the next months bigger jdmst meet, which should be much promising

Jarred and I were there from about 8:45 to 9:30, but there were like six cars! One JDMST guy came up and said there were more cars in a different area but we couldn't find them and ended up bailing - was pretty disappointing, but we must have been in the wrong spot!!

I wasn't impressed after climbing all the way up the carpark with my multi-plate clutch and too many speed bumps :p

I'll be at the next VWW meet if all goes to plan :)

didn't have a clue where we were meant to meant. By the looks of it, it was no-where near the designated 'meet point' but what evers.

Maybe next one will be better, and hopefully somewhere with a hell of a lot less speed bumps, my car's not even stiff, or low and has a hydro clutch, but even I got tired of all the bumps pretty soon.
