Hi
I need to replace my Michelin Agilis 215/65/15 's. I've heard they are very expensive and that the current version available is 109T. Has anyone rung around and got quotes on these tyres and if so how much?
Kind Regards
Michael

I replaced a set of those after 70,000km with Maxxis Vanpro's in same size but higher load carrying sepc for $200 each from Bob Jane Tyres. I had been having trouble with the soft rubber of the agilis getting slashed on dirt roads, but the vanpros have been around Australia on many dirt roads and have no cuts at all.

My 2008 Muiltivan has OEM Dunlop SPLT 30-6 215/65 R16C 106/104T tyres which are up to 45,000k's Probably another 10,000 k's if I am lucky.
I am planning on replacing with Toyo H08 - 215/65R16 106/104T. These are apparently a very good tyre. About $220 per tyre balanced and fitted from Tyre Power.

Hi Micheal,
I priced the Michi's about 6-8 months ago at just over $300. I got 75,000km out of my originals, and they still had at least 5k left, but I wanted an all-terrain tread. If I'd wanted road tyres I would have gone the Michi's again. I got Bridgestone D693's (at $200ea from Jax Preston), the only A/T I could find in this size that were load rated (104). They've been good, but seem a bit 'softer' than the Michi's. I doubt if I'll get the same wear out of them.
PS. I also had a lot of small tread cuts in the Michi's from off-road use, especially after my Cape Yorke trip, but it didn't seem to affect the performance or life as far as I could tell.

Thanks Guys
I've got great wear out of the Agilis tyres as did Brian above so keen to use them again and would go to $300 (plus a little more) even though it is way over comparable offerings which seem to be in the $200-250 range but I was told that the T9 version was going to be even more expensive when they arrived and just haven't had time to call around during working hours.
I did a little bit of rough road travel at Christmas and was really surprised how cut up they got so would not be keen to go off-road again.
Cheers
Michael
