Does anyone have any coment on the best place to buy aftermarket golf3 stuff? I have to travel overseas a bit for work, the U.S seems to have a lot but the models have some differences..can local suppliers look after us?

aftermarket stuff for golf 3 is pretty rare here.

try looking at ebay if you are willing to pay postage (ebay.de will find you nice german/ austrian sourced stuff but postage is a killer). Other alternatives:

in Sydney - try Muller & Muller @ Lakemba - used ot stock Oettinger gear; TCCA motorspor? for other stuff

in Melbourne - carshine.com.au (Zender, ABT, in.pro other euro stuff) , qsz.com.au (ABT)

in Brisbane? - Harding european - plus they wreck vw's too

UK - any number of stores - pick up a VW Golf mag and flick through it to get some ideas

If you are getting gear from the US be aware that AUS mk3 has different bumpers, guards and tailgate from US models, plus dash/ centre consoles are switched around and so things like facades/ inserts to consoles ain't gonna fit!

hope it helps
