the car still needs a good set of coilovers and some wheels to get it looking really nice, as well as a good tidy up of the interior as some of the colours on the doorcards to seats etc don't match
send me a pm if you would like any more photos or info
Cheers, Dan

Just out of interest would you mind giving us the specs for that spare engine/gearbox if you would consider selling it separately?
Ie.. 16V or 8V
Working or needs work
Etc
& also a price range if you would consider :)
Cheers mate!

quarter vents and rubbers have been replaced for new fixed window items from VW.
most of the scrapers and both window guides are also new items.
rear arche spats are new. the car is also fitted with a radio from a mk3 for those that like to plug their ipods in

Hi wraith, I would replace the tyres if you'd plan to stick with these wheels, other than that its just personal taste on what work needs doing to it.
the engine and gearbox are both fine for day to day driving. there is also a spare engine and a gearbox with the car if one packs up down the track. Drop me a Pm if you have any questions and would like to come and take a look, I thought it would have been snapped up at this price, the paint alone was $2200 without adding up any of the other parts on the car

I'm very surprised it hasn't gone yet too, looks like a really nice Mk1, perfect spec being 3dr and Swallowtail, and a good blank canvas for someone to take it to the next level. If only i was in the market for one, coilovers and RS' it would be awesome.
If this car was east coast it would definitely be gone by now! I foolishly contemplate buying it on my credit card and driving it a few thousand K's home!
Must. Resist.
