Need to replace all the rear carpet in the Multi
I've got an idea on some of the bits that need to come out, but I'd like some heads up on what's involved
Anyone have any ideas, or seen threads anywhere on someone that has already done it
The seats are obvious, I think the chanels should be straight forward, but then not sure on the plastic strip between the front and rear carpet, does it need to be removed?
Rear stainless floor panel, how does it come out
And all the side panels, do they have to come out or can the carpet be slid under them
Trying to avoid breaking clips and plastic bits, and not spend two days fiddling in the dark
Appreciate your help

It just pulls up wards.
It comes out very easy just take your time.
Will look at other parts for you.

Thanks Rob, much appreciated
Anyone know where I can source the original carpet from, apart from VW themselves
I will check out VW, but I'd like a plan B

Hey M whilst I have not removed a T5 carpet , as a motor trimmer by trade I can suggest you have two options 1st spare part just guessing here but you may want to look at a second mortgage to pay for one as genuine trim parts in Australia are ridiclously priced . 2nd visit your local trim shop for a quote on them doing the job or another option is to buy house grade carpet from a carpet warehouse and cut and fit your self . I have two T5,s myself one I use for work and one for family use , they were both bare bones vans when purchased new so a complete fit out was required . Our family van is used to carry our two disabled kids in wheel chairs so we fitted ply floor and sound deadener and used house grade carpet to finish the floor . A tip here obviously if you are matching the original colour spare parts is the only way , if you are happy to have the back slightly different to the rear just finish level withe rear of the seats . Hope this helps .Howard
