US imported mobil 1 oil

I found this guy in Sydney who imported Mobil 1 oil from USA and sell in very good price.

I want to get a box of 0w40, work out about $57 for 5L, compare to SuperCheap over $95/5L which is very cheap.

I wouldn't put that in a MK2, in my experience old dubs just burn through fully synthetic oils. Can't beat a good Dino 10-40 for them in my opinion, based on driving VWs since 1992.

no, i'm not using it in Mk2.
I have non-VAG car in my family needs that kind of oil :) just ask for opinion about it.

Nothing wrong with Mobil 1 as an oil. :cool:

Yeah nick is a good guy, I've been buying my mobil 1 engine oil from him for past 6 months and my friends have started going to him too. No problems at all.

Good to hear the positive feedback. I might grab some of the 5w30 ESP oil off him which is VW 504/507 approved and supposedly helps prevent DPF damage by reducing soot.
