Went for an early morning drive today down to Lake Eucumbene.. arrived at about 5 deg wet slippery grass, fog and sloppy ground from a storm last night and the 4x4 worked a treat.. Love it..

White Falcon in the background in the last shot, no match for my baby at the lights lol. Neighbor didn't realize it was me and come over and apologized and then spent half an hour drooling over new baby.

First drive was down The Great Ocean Road yesterday morning. Sport mode and that road are just a great mix and probably should be made illegal! My apologies to a SS Commodore driver who just couldn't shake me and I'm sorry I left you behind when you did move over and let me by. If you get the chance to drive that piece of road you just have to do it!

Congrats, Duckster! It looks great, and the wait is finally over. Wish we had a Great Ocean Road in Sydney....sounds like you had a great time :-)

I'm actually picking mine up today (not last Saturday as hoped), so excitement all around! Kinda wishing I'd gone with the Luxons now - oh well.

I did buy the Luxons through spare parts and I got them at $425 a rim (not sure how good the price really is). I kept the Themisto's that came with the car but seeing a few posts how the continentals that come with the car don't appear to last that long I also got a set of Bridgestone tyres to go onto the Luxon's. Driving down The Great Ocean Road the car just stuck to the road and just felt great. Come the new year the idea is to get the Themisto's painted. Not sure what colour at the moment. At the moment, I leaning towards Black or maybe Anthracite Grey.

Thanks VAG newbie! I love the Storm Blue. I have been told it's the only Storm Blue V6 Sedan in Australia, but I'm not too sure how true it is. There is a guy a few blocks over from me with a Storm Blue 125 TDI Sedan who is hoping to get a few shots with our cars side by side but he is on the road most of the time. After seeing his car I knew Storm Blue was the colour for me. It's a little disappointing that Storm Blue and the other colours that have pulled from the line up are now gone as well.

Come January, I'm sure you will love your Black 125 TDI wagon beastie as much much as I love mine (just be sure to post us some pics)

I'm actually picking mine up today (not last Saturday as hoped), so excitement all around! Kinda wishing I'd gone with the Luxons now - oh well.

Congrats Parkesy!!!

Hopefully that means that there will some pics forthcoming of your 125 TDI purple wagon beastie!!!!! I hope your wife enjoys it and hopefully a Octavia RS for your good self later on!

Thanks to everybody else and your kinds words. All I can say is that I'm pretty happy to finally be a Skoda owner!

Very pleased that the wait is over, and the beast is in my garage now! Not a diesel though - a V6 like yours. Only disappointment on collection was that they forgot to include the Bluetooth module and MDI in the build. Will be fixed in the next couple of weeks though.

Not brilliant photos, as it was starting to rain when I took them, but still looks pretty sweet!

Thanks Gents,

I'm very happy with the colour choice. Was a bit unsure until I saw it waiting for me at the dealer - it looked better 'in the metal' than in the brochure / photos! The sales guy did say that they'd be discontinuing this colour soon as well, so better get in quick Jake.

Count me in for the cruise!

Sorry Parkesy. To be honest I'm not quite sure where I got the idea of thinking yours was a diesel. Looks good through, even if it's behind is a little larger than mine lol.

Mocca Brown gets phased out after week 39 of production and considering the lead times for production at the moment you would be lucky to get one in Mocca Brown now. Aqua Blue isn't available on the V6's in the MY12 Superb range but is on the rest of the range which I find a little strange. A factory in Germany has just opened up that can produce the same paints that were being produced in Japan, so hopefully the colours were phased out make a comeback real soon! I see Landrover have made the paints that they phased out available for the Evoque, so hopefully Skoda will bring back their phased out paints.

Hi Guys
Phillip in Roxburgh Park, Melbourne here.
I have a Rosso Brunello Superb Elegance TDI125 wagon bought in Jan online from a dealer in Coffs Harbour NSW.
Originally a demonstrator for VGA it now has 13000 km's on the clock and I couldn't be happier with it. Runs on the smell of an oily rag! I would put up a couple of pics but apparently I'm not allowed (yet?) P.

Cappuccino Beige. I was tossing up between this, white or that light silver. I had a colour similar to this in a Commodore and it was great for hiding the dust we get out here.

Yup DTM front lip and grille painted in glossy black.
can-sprayed smoked DRL for now see how it turns out when the LED arrives for the DRL.
Might go for the philips daylight guide between the gap of the lip and bumper if the LED DRL doesn't work out.

The LED's I've used for the DRL's seem ok, I can post a photo if you like. I've also now put the fog lights in (I only use them as cornering lights so nothing special there). I just got W5W bulbs for the parkers and door lights etc so that will be this weekend.

YES!!!!! I can not stress just how much juice this thing goes through. However I was reminded the other day why I wanted it as I powered it way, way up the gauge in the wet without missing a beat. It was awesome. And I am still to put the DNA stage 1 tune in.

That charcoal wheel colour will help disguise the brake dust (mine are all silver). Easy on the go fast pedal or else you end up watching the fuel gauge go left as the speedometer goes right.

And careful of the brakes, they bite HARD.

Even with the about I still really enjoy mine.

This is the first Superb I drove, I was upgraded and lucky to get a near new 1200km old car as a rental, had it for 20 days and put an additional 4400kms on clock. I wanted to purchase an Octavia, but the wait for the new RS has been too long, then I found out that the first shipment most likely won't have any manuals. So I started pricing up the Octavia wagon with all the extras and the colour was Topaz??? So the salesman took me over to the workshop where there was one parked, nice colour by the way......however I digress.
As we were walking back we passed this
7902
After driving this I remembered the all the good things about the Superb and why it has that name. Hopefully I will pick it up on Monday, I say that as pick up meant to be last Friday, but that was moved to today but due to work I have moved it to Monday.
It's an ex demo/managers car with the V6. So I had a big chunk taken out of the new price, and the yard seems to be looking after me ATM
What a great way to replace a Commondoor.

Congrats,

Looking into trading in my 125tdi with 125tdi 4x4 version which I cannot see this in theOz Skoda website

It looks like your dealer is in Vic , have you been told this is a formal release. Don think the Outdoor version ($55k will be on my list as there is no ground clearance improvement compare in the VW Passat (All Track) Range

Otherwise, I will hold onto it for another 2-3 yrs and hope the new Passat with 176kW:banana: Tdi (include 4 Motion) not too pricy.

Our dealer [Brooks Motors, Wodonga] had four of these "non production" evaluation models. All are 125kw/350nm 4x4 DSG Elegance models. Only the white one had all the fruit, keyless, sunroof, auto tailgate etc. The other 3 [blue, silver and our amethyst] missed out on the kessy, sunroof, auto tailgate and the rear floor tiedown rails, although the silver one had the Outdoor grey body moldings fitted which looked better than the white Outdoors.
I think Brooks made the white one there demo.

Hi guys, picked up our outdoor last week after reluctantly trading a 147tsi manual octavia RS that just wouldn't fit three kiddy seats. 1st outdoor sold in QLD apparently. It's taking some significant adjustment going to dsg diesel from petrol manual, but it's growing on me. Don't think I'll ever love the dsg though, too much of a hard core manual man. Must admit it's a million times quieter and has a far superior ride to the RS and looks far better than the fl2 octavia too.

I picked up my new Superb wagon on Tuesday
I wanted to share this pic of my children's bikes in the back- there are 3 in there, I didn't think they would all fit but as you can see there is room to spare.
Think I will be getting rubber a floor mat next.

Everything is stock, really can't seem to justify any upgrades at this point :-)

Business grey metallic, looks a lot lighter during the day. Wasn't my first choice but couldn't beat the deal I found on it as an ex-demo that a closing dealership needed to move, and now the colour has really grown on me, especially how it looks at night.

MY18 Skoda Superb Sportline Wagon 206TSI 4X4

Just picked it up last week, fantastic car very impressed!

Trying to get the first 1000km's out the way so I can really test its potential :)

I have a JB1 tuning box to go on as well which should bring it up to around 240kW.

I haven’t bought it yet, I was looking at the Hardrace as it seems to be the only one that actually specifies it’s for a B8 TYP3 Superb, however am trying to find out more info around the H&R 24mm as I prefer the quality of German made. Some research led me to believe the Hardrace stuff is made in Taiwan. Ideally I wanted Whiteline however again they don’t list anything specific to Superb B8 TYP3. Maybe someone from the community with greater knowledge than me could point me in the right direction. I’ve sent Whiteline a message so will let you know when I hear back.

If u have a 206 - u can get AWD swaybars made for the mk7 Golf R.

If u have a 162 - u can get swaybars made for the mk7 Golf GTi.

H&R, Eibach, Whiteline etc etc. Problem is most won't sell just the rear bar alone, wanting u to by both.
