I know the bloke you are on about, he has closed his workshop, cos we nearly went halves on a new one. He is aircooled mostly though.

I can do most stuff for you and know people who can do everything I cant.

I`m in Camden, but can travel for watercooled VWs  0423 051737

Cheers for the recommendation Rednut

ok kool

Dam shame he went out of business. I guess you don't make that much money unless you train to work on the newer vw stuff.

I'm trying to find a cheap-good mechanic for a friend with a MKII.

Where is your friend based?
I`m at Camden and I have a VW mechanic mate at Five Dock.

If Camden's too far you could try Ron at C&S at Nth Padstow. He's been into Golfs for 30 years. Still owns a Golf 1, Passat 1 and a Vento.
