The Uber Ute is coming to
a dealer near you.

From this January, you can get a peek of the new Amarok. This Uber Ute is going to be making exclusive previews in select Volkswagen dealerships around Australia. And it's your last chance to get up close and personal with the Amarok before it hits the market.

It's engineered to the very highest standards. And when you take a look at the spec, it's easy to see why this latest addition to our range is in a class of its own:

Uber capable - 400Nm BiTDI engine delivers mountains of torque at low revs, great acceleration and plenty in reserve for whatever your load.

Uber spacious - the largest, most comfortable interior in its class, along with the most ample headroom.

Uber economical - the lowest fuel consumption in its class of under 8 litres per 100km, giving it a range of over 1,000km from a single tank. Combined with the lowest CO2 emissions of under 210g/km.

Uber versatile - the broadest loading width. A whopping 1620mm and enough room for a standard Aussie pallet to sit between the wheel arches (1222mm).

Contact your local dealer today to find out when the Amarok will be in a dealer near you.

Yup, they're coming. We're technically not meant to be publicising this ourselves but if anyone wants to pop by and have a look when there's one here at Epping, PM me for the details.

Latest rumor is that the TSI won't happen until the single cab launch later in the year...

I don't understand why you're so keen on the petrol team_v, from what I understand the diesel will $#!t on it from a great height... plus, highly tuned petrol engine in heavy 4x4 type vehicle = $$$ fuel bills....

Good spy Sharkie :D

The above looks like a Amarok BiTDI with permanent 4Motion in the Trendline spec.

Trendline has the black lower mirror housings and rear bumper as well as no chrome surround in lower grill.

Yup that's definitely a trendline with the optional 17" wheels. interesting i was under the impression that the preview cars would be highlines.

So does that mean the Taruma 245/70/16 wheels will be on the Trendline spec ? (I like the Taruma over the Aldo which are pictured).
